Arkansas Weekend with the Demar family!

I hadn't seen my friend Jennifer in years and we decided to meet up on vacation. They flew in from Wisconsin, I drove up from Texas. It was very HOT, I think it was over 100 degrees. Here we are when we first met up!
Here are the kids together :)

This was the first time I got to see Sarah Frances, 15 months old, born on St Patricks Day!
She is not only a beautiful baby but has her mom's sweet temperment!

She was easy to pass around and I even got to feed her when we went out to eat. She was always even, sweet, and never cried. She reminded me a lot of my son Tom, also a good baby.

Both my teens were well behaved! Which made the trip so much better :)

While we were there we went to Hot Springs, Arkansas, where we went on an amphibious vehicle called a duck which included a tour of the downtown area and then a ride on the lake. It was very, very hot, humid and when moving also windy.
We all enjoyed the quacker noise makers we got on our tour.

Tom enjoyed the narration during the tour.
Here I am with the Duck Captain!

We also went to Crater of Diamonds, http://www.craterofdiamondsstatepark.com/
I will have more photos, but this is what I have for now. We had never been to Hot Springs, Arkansas, it was a good time but it was really special to be there with our friends!
In this last photo you can see that Jennifer has a smile that lights up a room and her Sarah the same!
