Mom's turn for a retreat - Camping at Allaso Ranch

I packed up and went camping with the Baptists...
I was later than other campers, so I had to take a top bunk, but that was ok with me.

The front of the cabin had a porch with rocking chairs!

I did canoe, when I was a girl scout, a long, long time ago but I remembered how to do it.

I always make new friends, where ever I go...

The food was fantatic, NOT like girl scouts where we had to make our own food We did make s'mores at the fire pit

and sang songs too! I went horse back riding, something I haven't done in a long time

I had a really good horse, he followed my command, we were in sync

I also decided to do the zip line, am I crazy???

I am all harnessed up and sitting on the edge of the platform, more confident in my ability to swim than to zip

But once I got out there, I spread my legs and arms, felt the free fall a the wind rushed by

WOW!

It was a fantastic weekend!
