Merry Christmas from the Murphy Family!

Christmas Eve... Tom played bass clarinet at the 3pm and 5pm Masses today at our church: http://www.stannparish.org/.
Every year Tom has his photo taken with our music minister, Curtis Stephen, and this year Curtis squated to emphasize how much Tom has
grown in the past year.
grown in the past year. Curtis and his wife Lindsay had their first baby, a boy, who was in the play as baby Jesus.
Tina was not in the play or choir this year so I got to sit with her. When we came home from church our neighbor Ron brought us some ham. Ron is just like that, he is so thoughtful!

Then I let Tom and Tina open their gifts instead of waiting till morning. They got practical items that I know they want or need. I like to keep the emphasis on church and us being together.
But they are teens, and you may notice that jacket Tina is wearing, well a guy gave her his jacket and she wears it, well, a lot!
She may even sleep in it tonight.
I hope this blog finds you snuggled in warmth and love, celebrating the birth of our saviour!
Merry Christmas!
