What a great day! I could check off everything on my work “to do” list with ease. Some how I just got things done. Graduation gifts keep coming in, this has
really surprised me! My friend Kathy in New Jersey sent a gift and a card, with just the right timing, I’ll explain
later.
My friend Mary in Maryland sent a beautiful fruit basket, well, it is different than a usual fruit basket – see the photos! We were amazed with it, like art, but soon starting eating it! Thank you Mary, it is amazing!
Julie took me to ICE! at Gaylord Texan tonight as a graduation gift. All the sculptures inside of the 14,000-square-foot ICE! exhibit are hand-carved from two million pounds of ice by visiting artisans
from Harbin, China. To keep us warm in the exhibit, which is maintained at a wintry 9 degrees, oversized parkas were provided.

I loved the very large ice angel that faced the ice nativity scene.
The Gaylord Texan is an incredible place, everyone should go, Julie showed me sections I hadn’t seen before. The holiday decorations were beautiful. We also saw a live, one-antlered reindeer. I just love a “field trip”! It is an amazing place and I had a great time, it ended too soon. Thank you Julie!
