The latest at the Murphys

Welcome to our blog again!

Lately we have been having friends over for dinner and last night we had two of my professors from UNT! We had salad, pasta, home made bread and cake & ice cream! Yum! They brought gifts for Tom and Tina as well as beautiful tulips for me!

They are delightful, we should have them over more often!

A couple weeks ago we had Dr Nimon and her family over for dinner, I forgot to take photos, ugh. But it was also a great night of chicken fajitas and ice cream cake! and some mad UNO too. I have come to realize the wonderful people God has put in my life!


My degree arrived in the mail and was able to put it in the frame!

I think it is still sinking in, I am a doctor! I need to send out more resumes and am willing to go any where in the world, but it would be just fine if we stay here too. Initially I really wanted to move, but the more I realize how blessed I am, surrounded but such extraordinary people, it is hard to move away.

Tina is enjoying company coming over, they usually bring dessert and she loves the surprise. Tina likes to use the real china and formal place settings in the dining room.


Every time we have people over, Tom plays his guitar for them.

We wish everyone could come over for dinner at some point, so if you live local, we hope we can arrange a time with you too!
